We at Waterful.org believe that having access to healthy, clean water is a basic right of every person in the world. Unfortunately, this is not always possible due to widespread environmental contamination and poor public water infrastructure. It is therefore our mission to educate people on their local resources and provide the knowledge they need to ensure that they and their families get the very best purified water.
Extensive research has shown that with the appropriate equipment, all water can be filtered into drinkable water. We have dedicated our time and resources to making this research readable to everyday citizens as well as identified the most affordable, yet effective filtration systems.
Drinking purified water from public or private systems is not only better for you, but it’s also better for the global and local environment. This is possible through the reduction in plastic water bottle consumption. Not only is the water in these bottles not regulated (seriously, not all impurities in water bottles are disclosed!) but the plastic waste generated is astronomical.
Meet our amazing team.
We’re a passionate team of water enthusiasts dedicated to providing you the most up to date and accurate information on all your drinking water needs.
Keith started his environmental career in 1985 and has worked on numerous local, state and national campaigns and has become a true champion of water quality issues. Formally educated in Hydrology at the University of Delaware with a post doc in Water Resource Engineering, Keith has long sought answers to today’s clean water problems. Number one on that list was a complete lack of publicly available information, and hence Waterful.org was born.
Janet is a renowned water scientist with numerous publications under her belt, which makes her more than qualified to lead Waterful.org research and writing. She received her Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering at UC Berkeley, where her research focused on cleanup of chemical contaminants. She also holds B.S. and M.S.E. degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University.
